uMouche

uMouche is our test platform for the GNC of Colibri. It is an electric automatic flying vehicle, which allows to perform a lot of back to back tests in a short time.

Design

This vehicle has been designed as a test platform. FDM 3D printing was extensively used for its manufacturing, which allows for a good repairability and modularity.

Control algorithms

To improve our control algorithms, we have a MATLAB/SIMULINK simulation of the rocket in parallel to the flight computer software.
The simulation and code architecture have been designed in a manner that allows an easy transfer from uMouche to Colibri.

Sensors and electronics

This drone embeds the same sensors and flight computer as Colibri, allowing high-fidelity tests of our GNC.

Sensors : Vectornav VN300 (INS), JAVAD TR-2S with RTK GNSS (GPS), 2 Benewake LiDARs (distance sensors).
